One of Windsor, Ontario's best-known rock acts is reuniting for a series of festival dates this summer.

The Tea Party appeared on Sarnia, Ontario's Bayfest summer music festival bill, which was released Wednesday morning.

The manager for Jeff Burrows, The Tea Party's drummer, confirmed the reunion gig's a go.

The Tea Party, made up of childhood friends Burrows, Jeff Martin, and Stuart Chatwood, released eight albums and sold 1.6 million records worldwide before breaking up in 2005.

It's the first time the band has played together since the band broke up six years ago.

Bayfest gets underway July 6 through July 16. The Tea Party makes their return on July 9, with INXS and Theory of a Deadman.

The Tea Party hasn't yet released other summer tour dates.
