A major winter storm has swept through the region, forcing school buses off the road in Sarnia-Lambton and Chatham-Kent Friday morning.
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Sarnia, but Windsor-Essex and Chatham have dodged the brunt of the storm.
The Windsor area is expected to see between two to five centimetres of snow Friday.
Forecasters have predicted this could be the worst snowstorm in years for some parts of Canada.
Two weather systems, a Texas low and Alberta clipper, have merged together to form the storm.
Environment Canada says Saturday will bring sunny skies with a high of -3 C.
