Canada's manufacturing sector takes another major blow, losing 20,000 jobs

Windsor's jobless rate jumped to 10 per cent for the month of November. It's the highest of any major Canadian city.
The city's unemployment rate was at 9.6 per cent in October.
The national rate sits at 7.2 per cent for the month of November.
Statistics Canada said Friday there were job gains in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, Manitoba and Prince Edward Island.
Regionally, Ontario saw the most improvement with a pick-up of 32,000 jobs, dropping the province's unemployment rate 0.4 points to 7.9 per cent.
Windsor was one of four major Ontario cities to see a rise in unemployment.
Across the country, manufacturing had another bad month, shedding 20,000 workers, and construction dropped 8,400.
