Paul Henderson recalls stunning '72 series goal
Goal netted with 34 seconds left in final match of eight-game series.

It was 40 years ago today that Paul Henderson scored with time running out in the final match to clinch the eight-game 1972 Summit Series for Canada over the Soviet Union.
Four decades after that goal, Henderson tells his life story in a memoir, The Goal of My Life. In the new book, released in mid-September, the Canadian sports hero opens up about his spectacular highs and difficult lows, including his ongoing battle with cancer.
Henderson speaks with CBC's Heather Hiscox (video) and Jian Ghomeshi (audio) about his life-changing goal.
