Police say a fire that consumed a Windsor auto repair shop this weekend appears to be suspicious.
It happened at around 11 p.m. Saturday at 5 Star Oil Change on Tecumseh Road East.
Flames ripped through much of the building before fire crews could put them out.
Windsor Police Det. Kevin McCann said the damage is extensive.
"It's completely gutted. The fire basically took over the entire inside of the building," McCann said. "We're estimating at this point about $250,000 in damage."
The fire marshal's office is now investigating the cause of the fire.
No one was in the building at the time of the fire.
