A joint investigation between Windsor Police and the OPP's organized crime branch led to the arrest of two men and the seizure of $40,320 in cocaine on Tuesday.

Windsor Police pulled over a Pontiac Grand Prix Tuesday morning in Windsor, Ont. Two men were arrested for drug trafficking, and a subsequent search revealed 112 grams of cocaine on one of the men, police said.

After searching their homes in Tecumseh and Windsor, police said officers found more cash and another 291 grams of cocaine.

Both men were charged with conspiracy to traffic cocaine, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and multiple counts of breaching conditions of a recognizance of bail.

Both 28-year-old men were charged in 2010 with conspiracy to export marijuana from Canada to the U.S. Those charges are still before the courts.
