Armed robbery suspect nabbed by OPP

Police have tracked down a suspect they allege is responsible for a pair of armed robberies in Wheatley and Comber.

The convenience store hold-ups happened within an hour of each other on Sunday morning.

The OPP arrested a 21-year-old Leamington man on Tuesday.

He faces 15 charges, including robbery and a host of firearms offences.

Police have not recovered the gun used, but they say video surveillance images suggest it may be a fake.
