Police use taser in shoplifting case

Windsor Police used an electrical stun gun to help make an arrest Wednesday night.

They were called to the liquor store at the Roundhouse Centre on Howard Avenue around 8 p.m.

Security guards were having trouble holding on to a shoplifting suspect they described as a large man.

Police say they used a Taser when the suspect failed to comply with them.

A 22-year-old is facing charges of resisting arrest and theft.
