Windsor police are seeking the public's help after a hit and run last week left a motorcyclist injured.
Police say a dark blue Chrysler minivan changed lanes and sideswiped the motorcycle as the two drivers were travelling north on Central Avenue approaching Grand Marais Boulevard around 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 20.
The motorcycle fell on top of the rider and as a result, the rider suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. He was treated and released from hospital with a fractured clavicle and several broken ribs.
A witness travelling behind the motorcycle observed the collision and stopped to assist the injured motorcyclist.
The witness was able to obtain a partial licence plate number of AFLP_ _ _ . The van may have sustained light damage to its passenger side, police say.
Anyone with any information in the case can call the Windsor Police Traffic Unit at 519-255-6700 ext 4214 or Crime Stoppers at 519-258-TIPS (8477).
