Former Windsor-Essex Economic Development Corporation CEO Ron Gaudet has been hired by the University of Windsor.
Gaudet will serve as the university’s special advisor for innovation strategies, according to a media release issued by the school.
He will serve a two-year term that began Monday.
According to the announcement, "Gaudet will help create operational strategies for the University’s new Innovation Centre and Industrial Courtyard, which are slated to open in 2013."
Earlier this month, Gaudet left the Windsor-Essex Economic Development Corporation. At the time, the corporation said Gaudet "left to pursue other career opportunities."
