Windsor Morning is the place where people from Windsor start their day, discuss the hot topics that have the city talking and meet some new and interesting people along the way.

It's where you can depend on getting the information you need — weather, traffic, gas prices and the exchange rate — to plan the rest of your day. Host Tony Doucette brings Windsorites smart conversations, stories to think about and music worth listening to.

About Tony

Tony Doucette grew up on CBC Radio, an avid listener during his youth in Oromocto, New Brunswick. He first sat before a live radio microphone in Halifax in 1976.

After seven years in commercial radio, he began working for the CBC in Saint John, New Brunswick in 1984. He accepted a position at CBC Windsor in 1989, and he has spent the subsequent years immersing himself in a city he now proudly calls home.

In all, Tony spent twenty-five years as a radio and television sportscaster.

He took the chair as Windsor Morning's host in January of 2006, which perfectly suits his incurable curiosity. Tony feels a responsibility to present CBC Windsor's brand of quality journalism to listeners in southwestern Ontario.
