Power restored after squirrel caused outage on east side

A squirrel caused a power outage Friday in Windsor, says EnWin Utilities.

Power has been restored to nearly 160 EnWin customers on Windsor's east end after a squirrel caused an outage.

EnWin said a squirrel came in contact with high voltage equipment and knocked out power.

The outage affected approximately 158 customers.

Areas affected were the 2100 through 2300 blocks of Parent, Elsmere, Marentette and Louis avenues; and the 600 through 800 blocks of Vimy and Lens avenues.
