Police release new picture of suspect in 3 Subway robberies
Police area searching for a man who they believe robbed three Subway restaurants Tuesday.
The first happened at about 2:45 p.m. at the Subway on Lauzon Rd. The next robbery was at the restaurant on Tecumseh Road East at about 5:30 p.m. and the last was also on Tecumseh Road but further east at about 9 p.m.
In each of the robberies the suspect entered the Subway and demanded money from the cash register, police said.
No weapon was used in any of the incidents.
Police have released a surveillance video that shows a man at a Subway till.
He's described to be between 20-30 years old, about 5-foot-9, with very short brown hair, scruffy beard, blue eyes, thin build and tattoos on both his forearms.
These incidents add to the string of robberies happening at Subway restaurants in Windsor.
On Aug. 5 a Subway restaurant at the Windsor Regional Hospital's Metropolitan Campus was robbed of a tip jar and cash. Two other Subway's in the city were robbed the week before that.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
