Police lay charges in string of commercial break-ins
35 year old man charged after multiple "smash and enters" at local businesses
Windsor police have laid charged after an extensive investigation involving a series of break and enters at commercial businesses in Windsor.
The 35 year-old is charged with six counts of break and enter and five counts of possession of stolen property.
Between December 2013 and February 2014, police responded to six "smash and grabs" that occurred at businesses on Dougall Ave. and Tecumseh Rd. E., including Capri Pizza, Hamoudi Shawarma and two Subway restaurants.
The suspect used a rock to break the windows or front doors of these shops.
Police released surveillance videos from a few of the businesses when asking for the public's help.
The investigating is ongoing.
