Police charge man for doing Sudoku puzzle while driving
A man in Chatham-Kent faces a charge of careless driving for trying to finish his Sudoku puzzle while driving on Highway 401.
An OPP officer pulled up beside the driver of a pickup truck on the four-lane, 100-km/h highway Wednesday morning and caught him filling in the puzzle.
The driver had a newspaper draped over the steering wheel while he worked on the answers and drove, according to police.
Police said the man was oblivious to the cruiser driving alongside him.
He was eventually pulled over and charged.
