Windsor Police have arrested a suspect accused of murdering a man in May.
Richard Lemmon, 51, was found with stab wounds at 123 Marlin Ave. on May 15 and was later pronounced dead in hospital.
A 57-year-old man was arrested Thursday.
The victim and the accused lived together at the trailer park in south Windsor, according to police.
Staff Sargeant Todd LaMarre said police had to wait for the right time to make the arrest. That's why it took almost half a year to arrest a suspect.
"Forensic analysis results from the centre for forensic sciences regarding DNA. A combination of factors led us to achieve the necessary level to make an arrest," said LaMarre. Who went on to say getting those investigative details takes time.
