Additional charges have been laid in relation to an altercation on June 22 in Stoney Point.

The Ontario Provincial Police were called out to investigate a disturbance in Lakeshore, Ont., on Sunday morning, but both the accused and two victims had left the scene.

Police say they were called to a stretch of St. Clair Road in Stoney Point. Witnesses at the scene told them a fight had occurred in a parking lot.

According to an OPP news release, one victim was stabbed twice, while a second victim was hit in the head with an object. Both individuals were taken to hospital for treatment.

The OPP has completed the investigation and two more people have been charged.

A 54-year-old Lakeshore man has been charged with two counts of assault.

A 33-year-old Lakeshore woman has been charged with two counts of assault  and assault with a weapon. 

Both parties will appear in a Windsor court Aug. 5.

Police previously said a 27-year-old Lakeshore man had been arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
