A Windsor mother of two says someone fired a gun at her house over the weekend with the bullet narrowly missing her head, according to police.

Windsor Police said it happened on Erie Street near Gladstone Avenue early Saturday morning.

Police said the woman was "freaked out" when a bullet came through her living room window.

Her two-year-old daughter was asleep upstairs, while her 12-year-old son was spending the night at his father's house.

The woman believes the target of the shooting may have been a previous tenant, police said.

Police said they found the bullet casing outside, but nobody in the area witnessed anything.
