A local business group has scored quite a coup.

The Canadian Italian Professional and Business Association has scored Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne to speak at its 50th anniversary next year.

The head of Fiat and the Chrysler group was born in Italy but is now a Canadian citizen.

He received his MBA from the University of Windsor.

Next year's gala takes place at Caesars in Windsor.
