Windsor police say 60-year-old man who fell off the roof of a building in the city's downtown Monday morning has died.
The man was on the roof of an apartment building at 540 Ouellette Ave., located beside the Manchester Pub.
Police said the man was sent to Windsor Regional Hospital with life-threatening injuries, including head trauma.
Bruce Skeaff a spokesperson with the Ontario Ministry of Labour doesn't know how far the man fell.
The man died from his injuries Wednesday morning.
He was the principal owner and operator of a company called Professional Company Management, said Skeaff.
"The workplace was a condominium building," he said. "The worker was doing a visual inspection of the building at the time of the incident.
"This fellow was carrying out his duties as property manager of the building at the time of the incident."
The Ministry of Labour is investigating.
