Man, 50, dies after snowmobile strikes parked farm machine
A man was killed when his snowmobile struck a farm machine in an agricultural field in southwestern Ontario this weekend.
The collision occurred near Goosemarsh Line and Museum Road in Lambton Shores, Ont.
The Ontario Provincial Police were called to the scene of the crash shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday.
Police say two snowmobiles had been travelling through a field together when one of the snowmobilers struck a parked farm machine.
The driver of that vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have identified the deceased as Douglas Humphries, 50, of Lambton Shores.
The collision remains under investigation.
