Windsor police say a restaurant employee was robbed of a deposit bag Monday.

The incident happened at 10:55 a.m. behind the Lumberjack Restaurant near the intersection of Howard Avenue and Tecumseh Road.

Police say a female employee was heading out the back door with deposit bag in hand on her way to her car. That's when she was "attacked," police said.

She was kicked several times and eventually lost her grasp on the bag.

The suspect was last seen running southbound in the alley behind the restaurant.

Officers canvassed the area and a tracking dog also on searched the area.

Police aren't sure if the man was previously casing the restaurant and knew the employee's routine.

The suspect is described as being an ethnic light skinned male,  5'10" with a skinny build.  He was wearing a dark hoodie with the hood on as well as dark pants.

No weapon was used. The woman sustained minor injuries.
