32-year-old man was rushed to hospital with non-life threatening injureis, Ministry of Labour investigating
A 32-year-old man was rushed to hospital Thursday night after a light pole on the back of a trailer rolled on top of him.
Emergency crews responded to the industrial accident at E.C. Row and Ojibway Parkway at about 6 p.m.
Police said the man snipped a metal tie that was holding the pole in place on a trailer.
That's when the metal structure rolled towards him, onto his chest.
He suffered non-life threatening injuries.
It's not clear if the man managed to free himself from underneath the pole or someone stepped in and helped.
The Ontario Ministry of Labour was called to the scene.
