Kissing bandit sought by Windsor police
Windsor police are warning residents to beware of a kissing bandit roaming the city streets and planting unwanted advances on unsuspecting men.
Police say they have received two complaints about a man giving out unwanted kisses.
At 4:45 a.m. on Monday, an 18-year-old man was walking on Felix Avenue when he heard footsteps and turned to see a man approaching. The 18-year-old crossed the street, but the other man followed. He eventually grabbed the teen by his shoulders and neck, pulled him in and kissed him.
There was a struggle and the victim fell to the ground.
A little over an hour later, a 37-year-old man was walking on College Avenue, and felt he was being followed.
Again, the suspect grabbed the victim by the shoulders and pulled him in close. This time, the target of the kissing bandit punched the guy in the face.
The suspect is white, about six feet tall, with a muscular build. He has short brown hair, appears to be in his late 20s, and was wearing a royal blue winter jacket with a hood.
