The fluoride debate hasn't gone away yet in Windsor-Essex.
The City of Windsor stopped adding fluoride to drinking water last month. But, the topic resurfaced at Essex County council Wednesday night.
The health unit sent a resolution there. Based on information from Ontario's chief medical officer of health, the health unit requested support for the city to review its decision.

Kingsville deputy mayor Tamara Stomp is adamant there's no need for fluoride in anyone's water.
"It sounds very fear mongering to me. I, again, am not impressed that it makes it sound like that. That's not fair to the people that have lived all of their life without fluoride in their drinking water, have learned how not to ingest it," Stomp said.
County council simply received the information and took no action.
