Mother and daughter were hit Sunday in Windsor
A 35-year-old mother and her 14-year-old daughter were struck by a car Sunday in Windsor.
Windsor police say a car traveling at a high rate of speed jumped a curb on Victoria Avenue and hit the two.
The daughter suffered what police called serious injuries, including a lacerated liver. She was airlifted to a London hospital. Both victims suffered broken bones.
Police say two men in the car fled but then returned.
They face charges of dangerous driving and more charges could be laid, according to police.
