Gang beating leads to another assault charge, victim stable
17-year-old surrenders to polic, charged with aggravated assault
Police have charged another teenage in the beating of a 15-year-old boy.
A 17-year-old boy turned himself in at Windsor Police Headquarters on Wednesday.
He was placed under arrest and also faces a charge of aggravated assault.
Windsor police say the 15-year-old victim was beaten into critical condition Monday at a Marentette Avenue apartment.
He suffered what police called "a brain bleed."
Police previously arrested four suspects aged 15,16,17 and 20. All were charged with aggravated assault.
The victim has since been moved out of the ICU and his condition is stable, police say.
