Flood watch comes to end in Windsor-Essex
A flood watch issued by the Essex Region Conservation Authority ends Monday morning.
According to Environment Canada, 51 mm of rain fell in Windsor Friday through Sunday. The agency hasn't posted Sunday's total yet.
Tim Byrne, director of watershed management services for ERCA, says nothing unusual is being reported.
Byrne said the snow absorbed much of the rainfall.
"It's unusual for this time of year to be worrying about and doing this type of assessment," Byrne said.
