Detroit shock rocker Alice Cooper loves hockey
Red Wings fan now cheers for Phoenix Coyotes; had his own bobblehead night in Glendale
The sport most people associate with Alice Cooper is golf, but in his mind, it's hockey.
Cooper said growing up in Detroit, he used to go to Red Wings games with his father and he would play pickup games on frozen lakes.
Cooper said hockey is like rock and roll: "It's relentless."
Cooper is now a Phoenix Coyote fan and hosted Military Night at Saturday's game, where Alice Cooper bobbleheads were given out.
Cooper said hockey, "should be called 'OOHH!' because I do that 20 times a night: go, 'OOHH!'
"It's by far the most fun sport to watch live."
