Comedian George Lopez admitted to getting drunk and passing out at Caesars casino in Windsor on Thursday night.

He released the following statement to CBC.

“Tied one on last night. Not feeling great this morning. I was trying to sleep it off, unfortunately, it was on the casino floor.”

Ontario Provincial Police, who have a detachment at the casino, told CBC that a man named George Lopez, from Burbank California, was charged with being intoxicated in a public place.

Lopez was in Windsor to perform his comedy show on Friday.

Caesars Windsor declined to comment on "the incident."
