A U.S. Coast Guard rescue crew from Detroit hoisted an injured man off the ice of Lake St. Clair.
An all-terrain vehicle overturned on the Canadian side Tuesday. One of the four people riding on it was injured.
The group was on an ice fishing trip at the time.
When the rescue crew arrived, a swimmer was deployed to assess and stabilize the man, who is from Michigan.
He was hoisted aboard a helicopter and taken to the Mitchell's Bay marina in Chatham-Kent.
Paramedics examined him there.
The man's injuries were not serious.
