Windsor Buddhist monk charged with sexual assault

A Windsor monk has been charged for allegedly sexually assaulting a six-year-old girl.

The child's family claims the monk committed the assaults on several occasions about two years ago at the Khemara Buddhist Temple on Howard Avenue, according to Windsor police. 

Investigators say there may be other victims. 

Then Phan, 38, of Essex County is charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference and one count of an indecent act.
