The tornado was categorized as the weakest possible, an F0 — but it still brought winds of up to 110 km/h, which knocked down trees and power lines in the district south of Windsor.

The most severe tornado is an F5.

No injuries were reported during Friday's storm.

On Saturday, Environment Canada downgraded the tornado watch to a severe thunderstorm watch. Sunday's forecast is for a sunny and hot day throughout southwestern Ontario.
