2014 Ontario Summer Games set for Aug. 7-10 in Windsor

CBC News has learned Windsor will host the 2014 Ontario Summer Games between Aug. 7 and 10.

Blair McIntosh, CEO of Ontario Sport Alliance, the agency responsible for Ontario Summer Games, confirms Windsor will host the games.

McIntosh said there are some concerns about being able to host certain events, such as mountain biking and soccer.

The city will get a grant of $600,000 to host the games. The games have a budget normally between $1.4 and $1.6 million.

McIntosh said he plans to be in Windsor next week sometime to sign the agreement.
