2 drivers charged after crash that killed pedestrian
Police still seeking witnesses to collision
Two drivers have been charged in connection with a mid-December collision in Windsor that killed a pedestrian, police say.
On Dec. 15 a collision between a Dodge pick-up truck and a Chrysler Intrepid at Tecumseh Road East and Roseville Garden Drive caused one of the vehicles to hit a 43-year-old man, who died of his injuries in hospital.
Windsor police say both drivers were charged on Monday. The 34-year-old pick-up driver was charged with not stopping at a red light, while the 71-year-old Intrepid driver was charged with making an unsafe turn.
Both men are scheduled to appear in court in March.
Police are still seeking additional witnesses. Anyone with information can call 519-255-6700 ext. 4218, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS).
