Worker freed from cement truck, airlifted to hospital
A man has been freed from a cement truck that rolled over in Oakville, Ont., and he is being airlifted to a Hamilton hospital on Monday afternoon.
Halton Regional Police were called to the scene of an accident at Dundas Street West and Harman Gate shortly after noon on Monday, where a man’s leg was trapped under the vehicle.
It was not immediately clear how the man became trapped.
Shortly before 3 p.m., an Ornge spokesperson told CBC News that the patient was being transported to a Hamilton hospital.
The flight to the hospital was expected to take less than 10 minutes, according to Ornge.
