A woman in her 50s has been transported to a hospital after being struck by a bus in Etobicoke, according to Toronto police.

Officers were called to the scene of the collision in the Dundas Street and Kipling Avenue area just before 9:30 a.m.

Toronto police confirm the bus involved was not a TTC vehicle.

The woman suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Police have re-opened Dundas Street in both directions from Aukland Road to Wilmar Road after it was shut down for the investigation.
