Dufferin Street was closed to traffic early Friday in the area just north of St. Clair Avenue West after a serious water main break closed several area streets.
The mess began when a fire hydrant sprung a leak on Westmount Avenue just south of Rogers Road, spewing thousands of litres of water into the street.
Dufferin street was flooded and TTC was being rerouted around the area. As of 6:30 a.m. Dufferin remained closed.
