TTC subway service resumes between Union and Eglinton
But passengers told to expect residual delays after incident at Bloor-Yonge station
Subway service has resumed between Union and Eglinton stations on the TTC's Yonge-University-Spadina line (Line 1) after a passenger injury at track level caused delays during the Friday morning rush hour.
The incident, which happened at around 6:30 a.m., forced trains to stop between Eglinton and Union stations on the Yonge-University-Spadina line (Line 1).
Also, trains on the Bloor-Danforth line (Line 2) were bypassing Bloor-Yonge station.
The TTC originally said the delay would take up to 90 minutes to clear. Then shortly after 7 a.m., the TTC announced trains were moving again.
However, the TTC said subway passengers can expect residual delays.
