16-year-old arrested but no word on charges as police review security footage
Toronto police are investigating after two teenage girls made allegedly made threats and one of them is accused of pulling a knife.
Police were called at 12:56 a.m. Tuesday and responded to an area near Doris and Finch avenues, which is just east of Yonge Street.
Authorities say threats were made by two female riders and police aren't sure what led up to the incident or if the girls were demanding anything. The driver was not harmed and remained at the scene until authorities arrived. By that time, the girls had fled and boarded another bus.
Police and the Emergency Task Force headed to the second bus and arrested a 16-year-old girl after she eventually got off. The second female suspect was not arrested.
