Three people suffered minor injuries Sunday night after a TTC bus slammed into a tree in Scarborough.
The collision occurred shortly after 7 p.m. on Lawrence Avenue East near Brimley Road. The tree that the bus struck subsequently fell over onto several parked cars.
Three passengers were taken to transported to hospital, according to Toronto EMS.
All lanes of Lawrence Avenue have since reopened to traffic.
The cause of the collision is not yet known, but it occurred shortly after a winter storm rolled through the city causing icy road conditions.
