Weekend transit users will have a closure to contend with on their commute beginning Saturday.

A small portion of the Yonge-University-Spadina line will be closed on Jan. 26 to Jan. 27 due to scheduled construction.

All trains on the University-Spadina line will turn back north at St. Andrew Station and all trains on the Yonge line will turn back north at Union Station.

The TTC will offer a wheelchair accessible shuttle between the two stations. All other transit users must use busses or streetcars as an alternative.

The 94 Wellesley buses or 506 Carlton, 505 Dundas, 501 Queen or 504 King streetcars can be used as an alternative.

Regular service will resume Monday at 6 a.m.
