Truck smashes through Sherway Gardens store

A pickup truck drives through the front doors of a Sporting Life store at Sherway Gardens Mall and is left abandoned their in what appears to be a failed smash-and-grab theft.

A pickup truck drove through the front doors of a Sporting Life store at Sherway Gardens Mall early Tuesday and was left abandoned in what appears to be a failed smash-and-grab theft.

Police responded to a call just after 12:30 a.m. and found the truck, which had rammed its way through the front doors, but no sign of the driver.

Witnesses said two suspects fled in a second vehicle.
