Much of Yonge Street and other routes downtown will be blocked off Sunday morning and afternoon for the annual Yonge Street 10K Run.
Yonge Street will be closed to all traffic from Eglinton Avenue to King Street as of 8:45 a.m. The course then heads southwest — closing off stretches of Richmond, Peter, Front and Bathurst Streets, to the finish line on Fort York Boulevard. Buses operating on Yonge will be diverted.
Organizers have posted the route online.
On Saturday, there will be no subway service on Line One — a.k.a. the Yonge-University-Spadina line — between Eglinton and Bloor Stations until noon, due to signal upgrades. Shuttle buses will be running.
