Toronto weekend road closures affect Hwy. 401, Allen Road

As the first snow storm of the season leaves Toronto with a dumping of snow there are several road closures around the city that motorists should be aware of this weekend.

The on-ramps from Allen Road southbound to Highway 401 eastbound and westbound will be fully closed from 11 p.m. on Friday through to 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

There will be no access therefore to Highway 401 from Allen Road.

Highway 401 eastbound collectors will also be closed between Dufferin Street and Allen Road beginning Sunday at 5 a.m. until Monday morning.

Vehicles travelling eastbound will have to exit at Yorkdale Road.
