Good morning! Enjoy a little relief from the extreme cold weather in Toronto today.

As of 6 a.m. it was –5 C in the city, but it feels more like –10 with the windchill. Cloudy skies are in the forecast today with a 40 per cent chance of flurries and a high of –2 C.

Warmer winter weather ahead

Good news — it doesn't look like the extremely cold conditions of the last few days will be back this week. Daytime highs throughout the weekend will stay below freezing, but range from –4 C to  –1 C.

So bone-chilling –20 windchill temperatures are not expected anytime soon.
