Toronto weather: Friday, March 4, 2016

Good morning and happy Friday! Make sure to leave a little extra time as you head out the door, flurries are in the forecast this morning.
As of 5:30 a.m. it was –5 C in Toronto with light snow falling on the city. Those flurries are expected to continue until noon dropping about two to four centimetres of the white stuff.
Still a little on the cool side for your Friday with a risk for morning flurries. Your Friday Day Planner: pic.twitter.com/YCewpEgqlB

Then the active weather will clear off to a mix of sun and cloud for the afternoon. A low of –9 C is expected overnight.
Temperatures to hit 11 C high next week
If that chilly low distresses you don't worry, a warm up is on the way.
After today, daytime highs are expected to stay above freezing through Thursday, with an especially warm start to your work week.
Monday's high is expected to hit 10 C under cloudy skies, with highs of 11 C following it for your Tuesday and Wednesday.
See all of that warm air out west? It's heading east! Temps look to soar into the double digits early next week! pic.twitter.com/gNZtpNDbmQ
