A man was rushed to a Toronto trauma centre in serious condition Sunday after being stabbed in the back at Queen Street West and Vanauley Court.

Officers responded to the scene just before 1 p.m.

Police say the victim walked into a building at the Alexandra Park intersection and said he needed someone to call an ambulance. He sustained a single stab wound and his life is not in danger.

The victim was not providing any other information to investigators, they say.
