Toronto police are appealing for the public's help in locating two men wanted for an alleged downtown home invasion and robbery.

Authorities say on Jan. 17 at 10:50 p.m., two men entered a condo east of Spadina Avenue and Front Street West, just north of Rogers Centre.

The men grabbed an 18-year-old woman who was at the residence, tied her hands and locked her in a washroom, according to police. 

Police say a 43-year-old man who lives in the unit then walked in and was surprised by the assailants with a punch in the face.

A cell phone, cash and a safe were taken from the home before the two men fled, according to police. 

The first suspect is described by police as a white man in his late 30s to 40s with a medium build. Police say he was seen wearing grey pants, a grey Adidas hoodie, a dark tuque and a dark backpack.

The second suspect is described by police as a white man in his late 30s to 40s with a medium build. Police say he was wearing a dark blue hooded jacket and a red tuque.
