Toronto police find body in abandoned building
Toronto police are investigating after a body was found in an abandoned building downtown, two weeks after neighbours began complaining of a stench coming from its lower level.
The body was found Tuesday afternoon by a cleaner hired by the owners of the building. Police still don't know if foul play was involved, but they believe the deceased man may have been there at least a week, perhaps longer.
The building is known to be a gathering place for homeless people, CBC's Ivy Cuervo reported from the scene.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
